China-Norway Marine University Consortium Alliance
2022年11月14日-16日，由中国-挪威海洋大学联盟（以下简称“联盟”）主办的“中国-挪威海洋大学2022年度联盟年度学术会议：北极-中低纬气候相互作用及其海洋环境与生态效应”于线上召开。来自联盟25所成员高校、18所国内外合作高校和企事业单位共计300余位学者和行业专家出席学术会议。上海交通大学作为联盟新成员参加本次会议，海洋学院院长周朦教授在会议开幕式发言并作院情报告，学院多名师生参与分论坛。
China-Norway Marine University Consortium Alliance (CNMUCA) hosted its first Annual Academic Conference with the themes on interactions between low-latitudes and the Arctic and impacts on arctic environment and ecosystems from November 14 to 16, 2022. 25 member universities and 18 associated universities, enterprises and institutions participated in the conference with a total over 300 attendants. Shanghai Jiao Tong University is the latest member joining CNMUCA. Meng Zhou, Professor & Dean of the School of Oceanography (SOO) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), introduced the histories and achievements of the marine science program at SJTU at the opening ceremony.

中国-挪威海洋大学联盟是由我国和挪威多个涉海高校携手共同组建的跨国交流平台。平台的目标是加强科学研究、人才培养、成果转化等方面的深度合作，促进高质量的海洋学科资源和平台共享和优势互补，对推动两国海洋教育务实合作、构建海洋命运共同体具有重要意义。目前联盟成员单位包括13所中国高校和12所挪威高校。
CNMUCA is a transnational and interdisciplinary communication and exchange platform on marine resources and ecosystems jointly established by Chinese and Norwegian universities involved in marine and fishery sciences. The goal of CNMUCA is to strengthen in-depth cooperation between China and Norway in scientific research, talent training, science and technology transformation and et al., to promote resource co-shares in research platforms, and major research facilities and instruments, and to cooperate in marine science education. At present, the Alliance includes 13 and 12 Chinese and Norwegian member-universities, respectively.
上海交通大学与挪威卑尔根大学、挪威科技大学、挪威北极大学等多个高校和科研机构建立了长期深厚的合作关系，科研合作与人才培养活动蓬勃开展。联合国前副秘书长、前挪威环境与外援大臣 Erik Solheim目前为上海交大客座研究员，加盟海洋学院，任上海交通大学海洋碳通量研究中心顾问委员会委员。近年来学校获得了多项中挪联合科研项目和科考航次,包括中国自然科学基金委和挪威研究理事会共同资助的“多重压力下中国南海与挪威海北部陆坡生物资源与生态系统动力学的比较研究”等重要国际合作项目。同时，上海交大全面对接国家和国际海洋发展需求，大力推进“大海洋”行动计划，建设海洋多学科创新体系。加入中国-挪威海洋大学联盟将促进学校与更多中挪科研机构、高校、企业加强联系，加深合作，发挥各自优势，共同培养具有全球影响力和领导力的一流人才。
SJTU has established long-term cooperative relationships with the University of Bergen, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Arctic University of Norway and many others. Scientific research collaborations and talent training activities are flourishing. In 2022, Erik Solheim, the former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), former UN Environment Executive Director, former Norway’s Minister of the Environment and International Development, and Minister of International Development joined SOO as Guest Research Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Member of the Advisory Committee of Research Division of Ocean Carbon Flux (RDOC-FLUX). In recent years, the SOO has actively conducted a number of Sino-Norwegian joint scientific research projects and arctic expeditions jointly funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Norwegian Research Council, such as the “Collaborative Studies of Two Resource Ecosystems in Shelf, Slope and Oceanic Regions of the Norwegian and South-China Seas (STRESSOR)”. At the same time, Shanghai Jiao Tong University is fully addressing national and international emerging needs vigorously promoting the “Big Ocean Action Plan” and transdisciplinary research between ocean sciences and technologies. Joining CNMUCA, SJTU will strengthen its ties with both Chinese and Norwegian institutions, universities and enterprises, develop collaborative research projects, and jointly cultivate first-class talents and leaders for marine sciences and technologies.
